Why Give?

NABORS gratefully acknowledges funding received from the Ontario government through Ontario Health. These funds are used specifically to provide direct support to NABORS supported members. NABORS relies on circles of support as its foundation and has been fortunate for the freely given commitment and dedication shown by numerous individuals, too many to mention, over the years. NABORS has evolved into an organization that proudly shares its beginnings, evolution and future plan with all that have an interest. This could not have occurred without the countless hours given by circle members, devoted to their supported member and to the beliefs, vision and mission of the organization.

While our basic services are funded by Ontario Health, it is not enough to meet all the needs of our supported members. In response to this, NABORS fund-raises to assist when no other avenue for funding exists.

NABORS is a registered Charity with the Canada Revenue Agency and will provide a charitable tax receipt for all donations

Private Donations

Private donations to NABORS helps our Supported members live with independence and dignity. Money raised through donations has been used to purchase:

  • Additional supports during a crisis or emergency

  • Computer technology for augmentative communication

  • Assistance with summer camp registration fees

  • Music programs

  • Educational and employment support

  • TTC Passes

  • Gym/recreational programs memberships

These services keep people safe and break down barriers that limit full participation of persons living with disabilities in our community.
